Modalities available:

  • Therapeutic exercises – these are aimed at improving joint mobility, muscle tone, strength and function.

  • Electrotherapy – this includes ultrasound, TENS, IFT, shortwave diathermy etc. and aims at muscle relaxation, pain relief, nerve stimulation and increased circulation.

  • Cryotherapy – this treatment uses ice and ice packs in acute conditions to reduce pain and swelling.

  • Thermotherapy – this uses heat therapy such as warm packs and infra-red rays to improve circulation, relieve pain and enhance healing

The physiotherapy unit, which is open to both inpatients and outpatients, is modern and fully equipped, with full time qualified and dedicated physiotherapists, who evaluate your rehabilitation needs for proper management. The unit strives to prevent disabilities, enhance healing, relieve pain, and restore and improve motor functions of the body.

Our services are administered to both inpatients and outpatients. All patients can be sure of ‘one-on-one’ treatment with the therapist throughout the recovery period, and with adequate follow ups.
