Antenatal and postnatal care is part of our Maternity Department. We seek to provide safe care during the mother’s journey by scheduling regular visits to monitor progress. We also manage and support mothers with HIV and monitor the newborn pre- and post-delivery, so that HIV positive mothers can access quality of care and treatment without stigma or discrimination. This department has a 15-bed unit to cater for antenatal and post-delivery patients; it is modern and well equipped. There are also 10 beds available for gynaecological treatment and management.Brother Andre Medical Centre seeks to improve quality of antenatal care to reduce the risk of  pregnancy complications and give women a positive pregnancy experience. By focusing on a positive pregnancy experience, we ensure not only a health pregnancy for mother and baby, but also a positive experience of motherhood.
